Compactor Construction

View page
US Patent:
7958820, Jun 14, 2011
Filed:
Jan 7, 2008
Appl. No.:
12/006853
Inventors:
Terry L. Duperon - Saginaw MI, US
Assignee:
Duperon Innovation, Inc. - Saginaw MI
International Classification:
B30B 9/16
US Classification:
100117, 100145, 100146
Abstract:
A compactor for compacting and dewatering debris comprises a housing having an inlet for enabling debris to be delivered to forwarding augers which forward the debris to a compaction chamber at the discharge end of the housing. The chamber has an outlet opening of less cross-sectional area than that of the chamber, thereby ensuring compaction of the debris as it moves toward discharge. Debris enroute to discharge may be sprayed with water to remove sludge-like substances which otherwise would cling to some types of debris.

Compactor Construction

US Patent:
20080028952, Feb 7, 2008
Filed:
Aug 2, 2006
Appl. No.:
11/497821
Inventors:
Terry L. Duperon - Saginaw MI, US
International Classification:
B30B 9/02
US Classification:
100106
Abstract:
A compactor for compacting and dewatering debris comprises a housing having an inlet for enabling debris to be delivered to forwarding augers which forward the debris to a compaction chamber at the discharge end of the housing. The chamber has an outlet opening of less cross-sectional area than that of the chamber, thereby ensuring sufficient compaction of the discharged debris that it can pass through the opening. The opening is formed in an elastic wall which distorts to some extent and imposes a resistive force on the movement of debris through the opening, thereby further compacting the debris as it passes through the opening. Debris passing through the chamber may be sprayed with water to remove sludge-like substances which otherwise would cling to other types of debris.

View page
US Patent:
20110049039, Mar 3, 2011
Filed:
Sep 1, 2010

B01D 33/29
B01D 33/44
US Classification:
210328
Abstract:
A product that is an apparatus for removing debris from water containing such debris using a perforated plate, a backer plate, and a skimmer, positioned adjacent the back of the perforated plate to provide a means of removing debris from the perforated plate without scraping the debris from the perforated plate, the skimmer bar and the backer plate being synchronized in their movement.

Adjustable Spirit Level Construction

View page
US Patent:
45465495, Oct 15, 1985
Filed:
Jul 5, 1984
Appl. No.:
6/628519
Inventors:
Terry Duperon - Saginaw MI
International Classification:
B23B 4500
US Classification:
33334
Abstract:
A spirit leveling attachment for a power tool which is universally adjustable relative to the tool so as to enable the tool to be located in anyone of a number of selected positions of angularity and maintained in such position by visual reference to the spirit level. A magnetized support member having a partly spherical recess is mounted on the tool. The spirit level is formed with a partly spherical body member which is accommodated in the recess of the magnetized support member, enabling the body member to be magnetically retained in the recess in selected positions of adjustment relative to the support member.

Self-Cleaning Trash Rack

View page
US Patent:
47098040, Dec 1, 1987
Filed:
Oct 7, 1985
Appl. No.:
6/785560
Inventors:
Terry L. Duperon - Saginaw MI
Assignee:
Duperon Corporation - Saginaw MI
International Classification:
B65G 1900
US Classification:
198719
Abstract:
A self-cleaning trash rack for removing debris from a stream of water has an upright frame positioned in the path of trash carried by the stream and a plurality of endless, flexible chains carrying trash supports which engage and carry debris on the upstream side of the frame upwardly for disposal. Each chain has sufficient slack to enable any trash support on the upstream side of the frame to rock in such direction as to release debris that is too heavy to be carried upwardly by such trash support.

Screen Scraper For Trash Racks

View page
US Patent:
54258758, Jun 20, 1995
Filed:
May 20, 1994
Appl. No.:
8/247183
Inventors:
Terry L. Duperon - Saginaw MI
Assignee:
Learman & McCulloch and Reising, Ethington, Barnard, Perry & Milton - Saginaw MI
International Classification:
B01D 2964
US Classification:
210159
Abstract:
Apparatus for scraping debris from a trash rack occupying a position in a owing stream has a driven, upper turning drum and a pair of chains trained about the drum and carrying scraper blades which engage and carry debris on the upstream side of the rack upwardly for disposal. Each chain is composed of a plurality of links joined at their ends by pivot connections which limit the pivotal movement of the links from positions of linear prolongation in such manner as to avoid the necessity of a lower turning drum. By supporting the chain from an upper drum only, the lower parts of the chain are movable freely in directions away from and toward the rack, as well as vertically.
