Ability to interpret plans, specifications, schematics, sequences of operation. Install package units, roof curbs/adapters, thermostats, humidistats, sensor, humidifiers, duct-work, dampers, and oil, electric, gas heating systems. Experience in connect equipment or devices to refrigerant lines, water lines, drain lines, gas lines, and low & high power source. Possess strong electrical troubleshooting as well as organizational skills. Ability to interpret plans, specifications, schematics, sequences of operation. Understanding of basic commercial HVAC system types as categorized by ASHRAE. Maintain and perform corrective and preventive maintenance on controls equipment normally associated with commercial buildings to include HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs as directed, adjust and calibrate equipment when necessary. Knowledge of pneumatic and electrical/electronic control systems, building automation control systems, and energy management control systems to ensure safe and environmental and ecological conditions in state buildings. Ability to write estimates/proposals for commercial as well as residential. Maintain a safe and accident free workplace.
