E03C 1/26
US Classification:
210163, 210474, 4290, 4292
Abstract:
A disposable drain strainer is removably received within a drain opening having an adjacent drain rim substrate. The strainer has a strainer portion, a ring portion, and a seal release mechanism. Top and bottom surfaces of the ring portion are adapted to sealingly engage the drain rim substrate. The seal release mechanism is integral with the ring portion, and facilitates release of the seal so that the strainer can be readily be removed from the sink and discarded. In one embodiment, the seal release mechanism comprises a tab. In another embodiment, the seal release mechanism comprises a press-release component, wherein the ring portion has arced ring walls having convex and concave configurations. During sealing engagement with the drain rim, the ring portion is in the convex configuration. Pressure applied to the ring portion causes it to move to the concave configuration.

Humidifier For Use With Heated Air Source

View page
US Patent:
7828275, Nov 9, 2010
Filed:
Jul 5, 2006
Appl. No.:
11/481168
Inventors:
Haion Won - Basking Ridge NJ, US
International Classification:
B01F 3/04
US Classification:
261154, 261104, 261107, 261DIG 41
Abstract:
A humidifier utilizes a plurality of disposable filters and air from a source of heated air flow emanating from a floor, wall, or ceiling. The humidifier provides an energy efficient device comprising a container having a water reservoir formed from an inner support portion, a plurality of tunnels for transporting heated air throughout the container, and a plurality of evaporation filters. The evaporation filters extend into the water reservoir so that water is absorbed onto the filters by way of capillary action. The humidifier is appointed to be placed proximate to a source of heated air so that water absorbed by the evaporation filters evaporates into the heated air and is diffused into a room.

Precision Irrigator Apparatus, System And Method

View page
US Patent:
20070221758, Sep 27, 2007
Filed:
Mar 23, 2006
Appl. No.:
11/387262
Inventors:
Haion Won - Basking Ridge NJ, US
International Classification:
B05B 1/26
US Classification:
239515000, 239504000, 239505000, 239508000, 239513000
Abstract:
A precision irrigator system and process comprises a reflector plate having a center and an outer perimeter. The reflector plate is composed of a malleable material that can be contoured by a user to compensate for irregularities in the land area to be irrigated. At least one attachment means is secured to the reflector plate. The attachment means is adapted to connect the reflector plate to an irrigator or sprinkler system that operates to provide water to terrain having the irregular areas. By contouring and adjusting the reflector plate, the user can accommodate changes in the vegetative area's lawn shape or irregular lawn portions. The reflector plate is readily adjusted by the user so that water from the sprinkler comes into intimate contact with the outer perimeter of the reflector plate, and is deflected onto the ground. Bending or otherwise adjusting the reflector plate brings varied amounts of water from the sprinkler into contact therewith, deflecting the water into the vegetative area. Water distribution from the sprinkler can be thereby correlated with the irregular shape of a vegetative area, conserving the water supplied, and assuring that irrigation proceeds economically in an accurate, reliable manner.

US Patent:
20070272604, Nov 29, 2007
Filed:
May 25, 2006
Appl. No.:
11/440760
Inventors:
Jessica Chong - Palisades Park NJ, US
Haion Won - Basking Ridge NJ, US
International Classification:
B01D 35/00
US Classification:
210163, 4292
Abstract:

Top and bottom surfaces of the ring portion are adapted to sealingly engage the drain rim substrate. The seal release mechanism is integral with the ring portion, and facilitates release of the seal so that the strainer can be readily be removed from the sink and discarded. In one aspect, the seal release mechanism comprises a tab. In another aspect, the seal release mechanism comprises a press-release component, wherein the ring portion has arced ring walls having convex and concave configurations. During sealing engagement with the drain rim, the ring portion is in the convex configuration. Pressure applied to the ring portion causes it to move to the concave configuration. The seal between the ring portion and the substrate is released, and the strainer can be readily removed from the drain opening for disposal without having to touch the strainer contents.

Toilet Tissue Holder And Dispenser

View page
US Patent:
20070290092, Dec 20, 2007
Filed:
Jun 14, 2006
Appl. No.:
11/453317
Inventors:
Haion Won - Basking Ridge NJ, US
International Classification:
B65H 19/00
US Classification:
242560
Abstract:
A toilet tissue holder and dispenser has an uncomplicated, space efficient, configuration that houses a plurality of toilet tissues, which are readily accessible by a user. A first portion of the dispenser has side walls with an elongated aperture and an interior compartment. A second portion of the dispenser is attached to the first portion. The dispenser has a dispenser portion, a plurality of dispenser rod portions, and a lid portion having a lip adapted for tearing toilet tissue as the toilet tissue exits the interior of the device. Large quantities of toilet tissue can be housed within the toilet tissue holder and dispenser, thereby resulting in less frequent re-stocking of the device. Tissue re-loading is achieved with minimal interruption of tissue delivery.
