Load Balancing For Map Application Route Selection And Output

View page
US Patent:
20230009813, Jan 12, 2023
Filed:
Jul 18, 2022
Appl. No.:
17/867384
Inventors:
- San Jose CA, US
Gautam Madaan - San Jose CA, US
Timothy Resudek - San Jose CA, US
Braden Christopher Ericson - San Jose CA, US
Cheng Tian - San Jose CA, US
Jiri Medlen - San Jose CA, US
International Classification:
G01C 21/34
G01C 21/36
G06Q 10/04
G06Q 30/02
Abstract:
There are provided systems and methods for load balancing for map application route selection and output. A user may utilize a device application to map or route between two or more endpoints, such as geo-locations entered or detected by the device. During calculation of a travel route between the endpoints, real-time data, user preferences, and requesting entities may provide criteria data that may cause determination of a particular travel route, where the travel route may be longer than a most efficient route but within a pre-defined variable time or distance allotment and match the criteria data. Use of the route may accrue a form of compensation for the user. The user may view an application interface displaying the route, which may further include one or more executable processes to cause recalculation of the route. Recalculation of the route may require the user to provide credits or compensation.

System And Method For Implementing A Two-Sided Token For Open Authentication

View page
US Patent:
20210075613, Mar 11, 2021
Filed:
Sep 7, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/563851
Inventors:
- San Jose CA, US
Gautam Madaan - Dublin CA, US
International Classification:
H04L 9/32
H04L 9/08
H04L 9/06
Abstract:
A system and method for implementing a two-side token for OAUTH are described. A first request for access by a partner app server to user account information owned by a host server is received at a host auth server. Upon receiving authorization to share the user account information, a response is returned to the partner app sever. The response includes an access token. In response to returning the response to the partner app server, an event is written to an event queue. The event provides an indication that the request for access was received and that the corresponding response with the access token was returned. The event, when read by a host app server, instructs the host app server to submit a second request to a partner auth server for a reciprocal access token.

Filed:
Nov 15, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/686018
Inventors:
- San Jose CA, US
Braden Christopher Ericson - San Jose CA, US
Gautam Madaan - San Jose CA, US
Anush Vishwanath - Santa Clara CA, US
Michael Charles Todasco - Santa Clara CA, US
Cheng Tian - San Jose CA, US
Titus Woo - San Jose CA, US
Cameron Winter McClees - San Jose CA, US
David Flemate - San Mateo CA, US
International Classification:
G06F 3/01
G06F 3/0481
G06F 3/0488
G06F 3/0482
G06F 3/041
G06F 3/0484
Abstract:
A computer system associates one or more haptic feedbacks with one or more user activities. The computer system monitors current user activity on a computing device to determine whether the current user activity corresponds to at least one of the one or more user activities. In response to determining that the current user activity corresponds to a first user activity of the one or more user activities, the computer system causes a first haptic feedback of the one or more haptic feedbacks to be provided on the computing device, wherein the first haptic feedback is associated with the first user activity.

Short Range Communications For Specific Device Identification During Multi-Device Proximity

View page
US Patent:
20200005557, Jan 2, 2020
Filed:
Jun 28, 2018
Appl. No.:
16/022614
Inventors:
- San Jose CA, US
Gautam Madaan - San Jose CA, US
International Classification:
G07C 5/02
H04W 4/02
H04W 8/00
G06Q 50/30
G06Q 20/14
Abstract:
There is provided systems and methods for short range communications for specific device identification during multi-device proximity. A user may utilize a device to request a service at a specific location, such as a transportation service or ride sharing service. When arriving at the location, short range wireless communications between the user's device and the service provider's device may be used to detect the proximity of the devices to each other and exchange tokens that are used for identification of the other party. The communications may further be used to determine when the device are within communication range, and when the communication range ends indicating that the parties have moved outside the proximity range for the communications and the service has ended. At the end of the connection, a transaction for the service may automatically be generated and processed without requiring additional user input.

Augmented Reality Output Based On Item Acquisition Limitations

View page
US Patent:
20190206130, Jul 4, 2019
Filed:
Dec 28, 2017
Appl. No.:
15/857295
Inventors:
- San Jose CA, US
Zachary Joseph Berman - San Jose CA, US
Gautam Madaan - San Jose CA, US
Anush Vishwanath - Santa Clara CA, US
Pushpita Karmakar - San Jose CA, US
Anke Werner - San Jose CA, US
Michael Charles Todasco - Santa Clara CA, US
Vidit Maniyar - San Jose CA, US
International Classification:
G06T 19/00
G06Q 30/06
G06K 9/00
Abstract:
There are provided systems and methods for an augmented reality output based on item acquisition limitations. A user may capture visual data utilizing a device at a location, where the visual data includes one or more items available for acquisition at the location. A device may perform object recognition to identify the items within the images, and determine an item identifier. Using the item identifier, item data may be retrieved, and may be compared to restrictions on item acquisitions set for an account of the user. A visual output of a representation of the item in the visual data may then be configured to enhance or diminish the item's representation. The change in the item's representation may be output as an augmented reality visible to the user as the user views captured data of a scene including the item.

US Patent:
20190206264, Jul 4, 2019
Filed:
Dec 28, 2017
Appl. No.:
15/856942
Inventors:
- San Jose CA, US
Timothy Resudek - San Jose CA, US
Titus Woo - Santa Clara CA, US
Anush Vishwanath - Santa Clara CA, US
Gautam Madaan - San Jose CA, US
Zachary Joseph Berman - San Jose CA, US
Braden Christopher Ericson - San Jose CA, US
Lars Holger Alexander Steinmetzger - San Jose CA, US
International Classification:
G08G 5/00
B64C 39/02
Abstract:
There are provided systems and methods for a drone physical and data interface for enhanced distance coverage. An unmanned aerial vehicle or a drone may be unable to operate over a distance due to range limitations. The drone may utilize onboard systems and communications with other devices and servers to detect another vehicle operating over at least a portion of the distance, where connecting to the vehicle and using the vehicles resources for travel over the portion of the distance decreases the flight time of the drone. The drone may utilize a camera and communications with the vehicle or server to determine a connection point to the vehicle, and may connect to the vehicle to travel the portion of the distance. If the drone has not yet arrived at the destination and still requires further assistance reaching it, the drone may locate another vehicle to further use.
