Abstract:

To facilitate imaging of atherosclerotic plaques, arterial and venous, cardiac, and even tumor tissues and fibrosis, a fibrin-fibronectin complex or disease-related fibronectin specific MRI contrast agent (CLPD) has a specific binding affinity for fibronectin.
