Uladia Taylor was born in into a family of realtors in Detroit, MI. It was no surprise then, that her favorite childhood game was Monopoly. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree and Teaching Certification from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI; Uladia joined Digital Equipment Corporation's Educational Services Division in Novi, MI. Uladia has always loved the Southeastern United States; so when Digital Equipment Corporation announced expansion to the Atlanta, GA area in 1988 - she accepted a transfer. The Atlanta area has been her home for nearly 20 years. In 1989, Uladia began her career in auctioneering with government surplus auctions for DeKalb County School System in Decatur, GA and progressed to be a contributor with such significant auction firms as Red Baron Antiques, Atlanta Auction Company, King Auction Gallery, Slotin Folk Art Auctions and Four Seasons Antiques & Auctions. Uladia joined Gold Key Brokers, Inc. in 2003 and began to sell real estate at auction. She has attained the highest designation available to auctioneers - the coveted CAI. In 2005, Uladia became a board director for the Georgia Auctioneers Association. A Certified Estate Specialist, Uladia assists estate Administrators & Executors to convert real and personal assets into cash. She has a long list of satisfied clients. She is a member in good standing with the Georgia Auctioneers Association, the National Auctioneers Association, the DeKalb Association of Realtors, the Women's Council of Realtors, the International Society of Appraisers and she is a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Club. "Auctions are my passion!" says Uladia. She has been recognized with her June 2007 article in The Georgia Auctioneer Magazine and her May 2006 article in Black Enterprise Magazine. She was featured in The Auctioneer Magazine in 2004 & 2006 and in RE Magazine in October 2006. Uladia continues to thrive as an auctioneer and contributes to the betterment of the auction industry.
