Abstract:
A switchable diplexer includes a plurality of bandpass filters having passbands for the frequency bands in which communication across a communication channel is desired. The bandpass filters can be arranged in groups of bandpass filters located adjacent to one another physically. Further, a group of bandpass filters can include a plurality of bandpass filters having a stop band in a common frequency range of interest. A plurality of switches can be provided to switch the desired bandpass filter into the circuit to allow communication on its corresponding band. The switches can therefore be electrically coupled to the passband filters and configured to select one of the plurality of bandpass filters for signal communication on the communication channel.

Abstract:
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may perform uplink communications on a first radio frequency spectrum band using a first transceiver and a first antenna. The first transceiver may have a first capability configuration. The UE may receive an assignment for uplink communications on a second radio frequency spectrum band and couple a second transceiver to the first antenna to perform the uplink communications on the first radio frequency spectrum band. The spectrum transceiver may have a second capability configuration that is different from the first capability configuration with respect to at least the second radio frequency spectrum band. The UE may switch the first transceiver to a second antenna for the uplink communications on the second radio frequency spectrum band.

Various embodiments for calibrating receive chains on a mobile communication device may include identifying a calibrated receive chain and an un-calibrated receive chain of the mobile communication device and obtaining a first series of gain measurements for the calibrated receive chain and a second series of gain measurements for the un-calibrated receive chain. The mobile communication device may determine a path gain difference between the calibrated receive chain and the un-calibrated receive chain based on the first series of gain measurements and the second series of gain measurements, and compensate a gain of the un-calibrated receive chain using the path gain difference.

Methods and systems for a switchable diplexer with physical layout to provide isolation may comprise a diplexer comprising bandpass filters, the bandpass filters having a predetermined passband, and switches coupled to the passband filters and configured to select one of the plurality of bandpass filters, where the bandpass filters are arranged in groups of bandpass filters, a first with an E-band bandpass filter with a passband between 475 MHz and 675 MHz and an F-band bandpass filter having a passband between 650 MHz and 875 MHz, the E-band and F-band bandpass filters being electrically arranged in parallel relation to one another, and a second comprising a D-band bandpass filter with a passband between 1125 MHz and 1675 MHz and a D-low band bandpass filter with a passband between 1125 MHz and 1225 MHz, the D-band and D-low band bandpass filters being electrically arranged in parallel relation to one another.
