RYLA is an experiential live-in program designed to help young people develop their team work and communication skills and fulfill their potential as leaders

The Meg Charlop Memorial Scholarship Fund was established at the CUNY School of Public Health at Hunter College to honor her memory and her legacy in the field of Public Health. The scholarship award is presented annually to a student who has demonstrated an understanding and commitment to the importance of community health. Meg Charlop was a 2005 graduate of the CUNY School of Public Health at Hunter College. Starting as a community housing organizer in the South Bronx in the 1970’s, she worked tirelessly to improve the living environments of the people in the neighborhoods where she worked.
