Skills:
Whole-body glucose disposal, muscle glucose uptake, hepatic glucose production, hyperinsulinemic-euglycemic clamps, intravenous glucose tolerance tests (IVGTT), intraperitoneal glucose tolerance tests (IPGTT), insulin tolerance tests (ITT), blood sampling, plasma isolation, necropsy and tissue collection. Molecular methods include western-blots, ELISA, qPCR, RT-PCR, RNA expression, in situ hybridization, genomic sequencing, fluorescent microscopy, tissue processing, sectioning and, histological staining.
