Ultraviolet Treatment Chambers With Forced-Orientation Lamp And Socket Assembly

View page
US Patent:
8274060, Sep 25, 2012
Filed:
Aug 24, 2010
Appl. No.:
12/862241
Inventors:
Oliver Lawal - Fort Mill SC, US
Seth Kacur - Beacon NY, US
Assignee:
Hanovia Limited - Slough, Berkshire
International Classification:
A61L 2/00
US Classification:
25045511, 2504931, 250436, 250437, 422 22, 422 23, 422 24
Abstract:
A lamp mounting assembly that mounts a UV lamp within a flow control structure includes a mount assembly that mounts at an end of the flow control structure. The mount assembly includes a conductor housing receiving opening extending therethrough. A socket base structure includes a socket base and a conductor housing extending outwardly from the socket base. The conductor housing is sized to be received by the conductor housing receiving opening of the mount assembly. A lamp socket is connected to the conductor housing to allow an electrical connection between the lamp socket and a power source. The lamp socket has a lamp engaging surface arranged offset from vertical when mounted to the flow control structure.

Vibration Resistant Fitting Assemblies

View page
US Patent:
20110285127, Nov 24, 2011
Filed:
Aug 4, 2009
Appl. No.:
13/057501
Inventors:
Seth Kacur - Beacon NY, US
Gary C. Helstern - Newtown CT, US
Assignee:
DIBA INDUSTRIES, INC. - Danbury CT
International Classification:
F16L 25/00
US Classification:
285330
Abstract:
Fitting assemblies are disclosed that include a threaded conduit and a releasable longitudinal restrictor comprising a compressible port securement. The threaded conduit can be configured to engage a complementary threaded portion of a fluid port and include a fluid channel traversing a longitudinal axis of the threaded conduit. The releasable longitudinal restrictor can engage an outer periphery of the threaded conduit and may be configured to advance along the longitudinal axis of the threaded conduit in a first direction towards the port while releasably restricting movement along the threaded conduit in a second direction, opposite the first direction. A leading edge of the compressible port securement may also be configured to engage an engaging surface of the port such that the compressible port securement compresses to permit spring-loaded advancement of the releasable longitudinal restrictor in the first direction and restrict rotational movement of the threaded conduit relative the port.

Pressure-Sensor Based Liquid-Level Measuring Device With Reduced Capillary Effect

US Patent:
20120067119, Mar 22, 2012
Filed:
May 26, 2010
Appl. No.:
13/319794
Inventors:
John Cronin - Mahopac NY, US
Gary C. Helstern - Newtown CT, US
Merima Jahic - New Milford CT, US
Seth Kacur - Beacon NY, US
Assignee:
DIBA INDUSTRIES, INC. - Danbury CT
International Classification:
G01F 23/14
US Classification:
73299
Abstract:
A high efficiency diametrically compact, radial oriented piston hydraulic machine includes a cylinder block with a plurality of cylinders coupled to a first port by a first valve and to a second port by a second valve. A drive shaft with an eccentric cam, is rotatably received in the cylinder block and a cam bearing extend around the eccentric cam. A separate piston is slideably received in each cylinder. A piston rod is coupled at one end to the piston and a curved shoe at the other end abuts the cam bearing. The curved shoe distributes force from the piston rod onto a relatively large area of the cam bearing and a retaining ring holds each shoe against the cam bearing. The cylinder block has opposing ends with a side surface there between through which every cylinder opens. A band engages the side surface closing the openings of the cylinders.

Edger Resurfacing Machine

US Patent:
20130189908, Jul 25, 2013
Filed:
Jan 23, 2012
Appl. No.:
13/356112
Inventors:
Timothy A. Strickland - Raeford NC, US
Seth Kacur - Beacon NY, US
Assignee:
Onfloor Technologies, L.L.C. - Newburgh NY
International Classification:
B24B 7/14
US Classification:
451259
Abstract:
An edger machine for treating a floor and other surfaces has a housing with a motor and a deck. The motor has a drive shaft extending into an upper deck section of the deck. A pulley is positioned forward of the drive shaft, and a drive belt connects the drive shaft to the pulley. The pulley is constructed to mount a resurfacing disc in a lower deck section of the deck. A pair of guide wheels is mounted on an upper surface of the lower deck section adjacent the upper deck section. The guide wheels are rotatable about a vertical axis and positioned such that the wheels can roll against a vertical surface.
