Ashok Sadasivan - Sunnyvale CA, US
Sergio Colla - San Jose CA, US
Paula N. Balus - Cupertino CA, US
International Classification:
G06N 5/02
US Classification:
706 47
Abstract:
A method and system for analyzing attribute change impact within a managed network by analyzing an attribute modification according to one or more rules to determine thereby a negative impact level associated with the attribute modification, where the rules include rules initially identified as relevant to the attribute and rules deterministically identified as relevant to said attribute.

International Classification:
H04W 72/04
US Classification:
455509
Abstract:
A method, system and apparatus for allocating a finite number of identifiers to a plurality of base stations in a wireless network in which individual base stations and iteratively process respective ranges of identifiers to adapt identifier assignments in response to detected collision/confusion conditions.

Method, System And Apparatus Providing Secure Infrastructure

View page
US Patent:
20110231654, Sep 22, 2011
Filed:
Mar 15, 2011
Appl. No.:
13/047859
Inventors:
Gurudas Somadder - San Jose CA, US
Joël R. Calippe - San Jose CA, US
Paula N. Balus - Cupertino CA, US
Sergio Colla - San Jose CA, US
Mohammad Farook - Sunnyvale CA, US
International Classification:
H04L 29/06
US Classification:
713153
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus for automatically providing secure network infrastructure over non-secure network infrastructure such as by automatically generating IPSec tunnels through non-secure networks, terminating the IPSec tunnels at a boundary device and creating appropriate services to bridge traffic between the IPSec tunnels and a secure network. Various embodiments provide rapid provisioning of secure network infrastructure, a Secure Gateway (SEG) embodiment adapted to particular customer requirements and various business methodologies.

System And Method Of Verifying Provisioned Virtual Services

View page
US Patent:
20160378816, Dec 29, 2016
Filed:
Jun 23, 2015
Appl. No.:
14/747950
Inventors:
Sergio Colla - San Jose CA, US
Nihal Singh - San Jose CA, US
Bill Leung - San Jose CA, US
Sakthikumar Balakrishnan - Sunnyvale CA, US
Srinivasan Boovaraghavan - Sunnyvale CA, US
Assignee:
ALCATEL-LUCENT USA INC. - Murray Hill NJ
International Classification:
G06F 17/30
H04L 29/08
Abstract:
This disclosure relates to various systems, methods, architectures, mechanisms, or apparatuses for verifying or auditing that virtual services are correctly instantiated at a data center. Verification that virtual services are correctly instantiated at a data center may include comparing normalized datasets representing the actual instantiated services associated with a virtual services provisioning entity to normalized datasets representing the expected instantiated services associated with the provisioning entity. Verification that virtual services are correctly instantiated at a data center may include monitoring one or more communication channels of a virtual services control entity to identify a provisioning command intended for the provisioning entity, determining whether the identified provisioning command intended for the provisioning entity has been received by the provisioning entity, and generating an alert based on a determination that the identified provisioning command intended for the provisioning entity has not been received by the provisioning entity.

US Patent:
20150169353, Jun 18, 2015
Filed:
Sep 30, 2014
Appl. No.:
14/502832
Inventors:
SERGIO COLLA - SAN JOSE CA, US
RAJESH SHENOY - SAN JOSE CA, US
BILL LEUNG - SAN JOSE CA, US
TUAN NGUYEN - SAN JOSE CA, US
Assignee:
ALCATEL-LUCENT USA INC. - MURRAY HILL NJ
International Classification:
G06F 9/455
H04L 29/08
Abstract:
Systems, methods, architectures, mechanisms or apparatus to manage virtual and nonvirtual elements in a data center (DC) by correlating necessarily supporting virtual and nonvirtual DC elements, such as the virtual and nonvirtual DC elements necessary to support a VM, a virtual port attaching the VM to an L2 service, a hypervisor supporting the L2 service, an L3 attachment point supporting the L2 service and the L3 service to which the L2 services attached.
