International Classification:
A61B008/00
US Classification:
600/437000, 600/443000
Abstract:
An ultrasound imaging system for the generation of image data at a first location that sends said data to a main ultrasound diagnostic imaging machine for processing or viewing of the image data. The data may be processed up to the capabilities of the main machine and then formatted in the format capabilities of the main machine (duplex scan, color enhanced images, etc.) where the digital data can be sent via hard wire or wireless transmission to a network for viewing (image or processed data) or to the portable hand carry satellite ultrasound imaging machine.

Best Multifunction Bucks Traction Boot

View page
US Patent:
20020143280, Oct 3, 2002
Filed:
Jan 10, 2002
Appl. No.:
10/044417
Inventors:
Sean Souney - Monrovia CA, US
Richard Roeder - Monrovia CA, US
Kurt Fuhrman - Thousand Oaks CA, US
International Classification:
A61F005/00
US Classification:
602/032000
Abstract:
A universal bucks traction boot for orthopedic traction on the leg having an asymmetrical shape which when connected together forms a heel pocket and has attached to it a stirrup of webbing that is reinforced with plastic stays and has a friction free movable circular ring around the webbing for attachment. The convoluted foam inside surface has a hook compatible surface on the outside of the material for the attachment of the wide straps. In addition, a large dorsal area that is cut out allows access to the foot for patient assessment or for the application of an external/intermittent pneumatic compression device that is often needed to be used with the patient who needs orthopedic traction. The foam will be of soft durometer but of sufficient density so that when attempts are made to over tighten the straps the hook and loop interface will release and not allow over tightening.

Separable Compression Sleeve With Barrier Protection Device And Reusable Coupler

View page
US Patent:
20040039317, Feb 26, 2004
Filed:
Aug 23, 2002
Appl. No.:
10/226382
Inventors:
Sean Souney - Monrovia CA, US
Rick Roeder - Monrovia CA, US
International Classification:
A61F005/00
US Classification:
602/013000
Abstract:
A separable compression sleeve where the fluid inflating portion commonly referred to as bladder, tubing and connector () can be separated from the garment or sleeve portion () that wraps around the limb or desired substrate to be compressed. The bladder, tubing and connector () can be mechanically barrier protected so it can be reused without chemical reprocessing by using a protective flexible covering () (barrier), a unique outer or connector coupler shell , a membrane barrier (valve) (), a reusable coupler (), disposable coupler connector () and an easy open heat shrink connection () that allows for quick dissassembly of the barrier so the bladder tubing and connector () can be reused.
