US Classification:
455 903, 4555751, 4555757, 4555758, 455347, 455348, 455349, 455 111, 439 11, 439 13, 439 14, 439207, 439208, 439210, 174 59, 174 60, 174 61, 174 63, 174 64, 248127, 248130, 248131, 248132, D14140, D141404, D141406
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present disclosure relates to a radio frequency (RF) device for communicating on a wireless network. The device includes an antenna coupled to an RF circuit. The device further includes a body housing the RF circuit and the antenna. The device yet further includes a support member extending from the body. The support member is configured to be coupled to an object. The support member is prevented from moving laterally and vertically relative to the object when coupled to the object. The support member and body are configured to allow the body and the antenna to rotate about an axis when the support member is prevented from moving laterally and vertically relative to the object.

US Patent:
20080175210, Jul 24, 2008
Filed:
Jan 24, 2007
Appl. No.:
11/657203
Inventors:
Jerel Scott Jamieson - Eagle WI, US
International Classification:
H04Q 7/24
US Classification:
370338
Abstract:
A method of managing the radio frequency environment of a building zone includes using a plurality of radio frequency enabled building management devices distributed around the building zone. The method also includes interrupting a radio frequency enabled building management device from the device's primary building management function when a measuring event occurs, measuring radio frequency information of the building zone using the interrupted radio frequency enabled building management device, sending the measured radio frequency information from the radio frequency enabled building management device to a controller system, storing the measured radio frequency information in a database of the controller system. The method also includes repeating the interrupting, measuring, sending, and storing steps for a plurality of radio frequency enabled building management devices.

Microprocessor-Based Controller With Synchronous Reset

View page
US Patent:
49319752, Jun 5, 1990
Filed:
Dec 21, 1987
Appl. No.:
7/135418
Inventors:
Henry A. Gleason - Johnson Creek WI
Jerel S. Jamieson - Watertown WI
Assignee:
Johnson Service Company - Milwaukee WI
International Classification:
G06F 1520
US Classification:
364570
Abstract:
A microprocessor-based controller with synchronous reset operates in synchrony with a recurring signal coupled to its reset terminal and executes a predetermined linear program during each acive portion of the recurring signal. The controller remains in an inactive state until the recurring signal again triggers a successive active state. The controller is applicable to control applications requiring high reliability, while retaining the flexibility afforded by a microprocessor-based system. The preferred embodiments of the microprocessor-based controller are applied to combustible fuel burners employing various operating strategies.

Balanced Charge Flame Characterization System And Method

View page
US Patent:
6084518, Jul 4, 2000
Filed:
Jun 21, 1999
Appl. No.:
9/337018
Inventors:
Jerel S. Jamieson - Waukesha WI
Assignee:
Johnson Controls Technology Company - Plymouth MI
International Classification:
G08B 1712
US Classification:
340577
Abstract:
A sensor for detecting characteristics of a flame includes a pair of electrodes that are spaced apart for passing an electric current through the flame. A pulse width modulator is coupled to the electrodes and generates an alternating current which flows through the flame. A controller operates the pulse width modulator to alter the duty cycle of the alternating current so that the average current through the flame is zero. Flame characteristic information is derived from the lengths of the positive and negative periods of the resultant alternating current.
