About:
I grew up on the Upper West Side with two brothers and three sisters. When I was thirteen we moved to Washington Heights. Originally, we moved because the cost of living was very low compared to the rest of Manhattan. The apartments in Washington Heights are primarily pre-war construction. Most of the units have huge rooms, hardwood floors, crown molding and many have sunken living rooms. The cost at that time was half the cost to live on the Upper West Side. For such a large family it was ideal. My mother purchased a Coop apartment on Fort Washington Ave, a block away from Fort Tryon Park. Fort Tryon Park is home to The Cloisters Museum, The New Leaf Café and an award winning flower garden. The park and all of its treasures is one of the main features of this area that my entire family fell in love with so long ago. My mother used to call it HER flower garden! Fort Tryon Park is like the “Tree of Life” from the movie Avatar for us and I do believe that the “Jackson Promenade” and the “Heather Garden”, which is part of the promenade is the most tranquil place in all of New York City. All of my siblings and I still live in the area. We have many friends who have grown up in this neighborhood and have stayed. Most have families of their own now. It gives the area a real “neighborhood feel”. I became a Licensed Realtor in 2008. I started in the middle of the recession. It was the toughest market our city has seen in years. Most people close to me thought this was a bad idea at the time, but I'm so glad I followed my heart and went for it anyway. I have a great time showing my clients around my neighborhood. I thoroughly enjoy supporting people in creating the lives they desire, and most importantly serving the community. I always say, “It's so easy to work in this neighborhood because I totally love it and continue to enjoy all it has to offer.” I'm so eager to share what I feel is the best kept secret in the city. I work with a small group of dedicated and knowledgeable Realtors who share the same values. The first one being, 100% satisfaction for every single person whether you’re renting a studio, or buying a building. We work hard throughout the year to ensure we have the best product available and it has paid off. In the few short years I've been with Sovereign Real Estate I've watched our company grow into the most active realty group in this area. I'm very proud of my team. Last year as a company we managed to move over one hundred happy families and individuals into the neighborhood. It feels so good to support people in making their dreams a reality!
