About:
Determining what you can afford and then finding a home, is only the first two steps to getting the house you want. The hardest part can be agreeing to the terms for the price, as well as solving the issues that arise from the inspection. This is true on both ends of the transaction. Buying or selling a home can be sometimes a long and frustrating process, even if you have done it before. I pride myself in having the skills and ability to help you find solutions to address issues that may come up. Rarely are two transactions exactly alike, but my more than 25 years of experience in real estate, management, home construction, design, and decorating will go a long ways in helping close the deal and complete your home buying or selling experience on a positive note. BUYERS: This is the perfect time to go house hunting. Interest rates are at historic lows and home prices are more affordable then they have been in many years. Many properties are getting multiple offers so you need to be prepared. Looking for and finding your dream home can be fun if you start off on the right foot. I enjoy hunting for that perfect home that meets what my buyers are looking for and want in their dream home. And, if we take a few steps prior to going out and looking, we can avoid some heartache down the road. I work with a great team of professionals that will help you figure out what you can afford, and then I can help you determine what you really want, then we can hunt for that dream home. Included in the information I provide, is a “Process” guide that helps you know what to expect as we go through the process of getting the home you want. All transactions have common elements but you will run into curve balls that I can help you figure out and get past the best we can, it’s the nature of house hunting. SELLERS: There are three things you need to do to make sure your home sells as quickly as it can. 1. PRICE: Price your home at current market value and not a penny more. Over priced homes sit on the market while homes more aggressively priced, that is closer to market value, sell quicker. I will help you see where your home fits in the current market so it can be sold more rapidly. 2. FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Make sure your home is looking its best. Clean, de-cluttered, and smelling fresh all makes for the best first impression. I will help you identify what should be put away and help stage the home so it looks great. We can also choose to use a professional stager that can pull from many resources to get your home noticed. 3. REPAIRS: Make sure that you go over the home in detail, looking for things that may be needing attention or repair. If it needs repair before you list the home for sale, then it surly will come up in the home inspection. It is better to take care of problems before buyers notice, as they may just move on to the next home that does not need repair. Doing these things will help you get the highest amount for your home. Call or email me today and we can start the process of listing your home, and/or finding your dream home.
