I was born in the Mountain town of Middlesboro, Kentucky. I spend most of my years living and working in other parts of the country, but my country roots were always with me. I enjoyed my time away from the Mountains and made many good friends where I lived until my retirement from Bellsouth Communications. I took all my vacations and business trips to the Mountains everytime I could. The country life was something I knew I would do if I ever retired. Well, one day I did retire and moved to the small town of Sneedville, Tennessee. It is just 32 miles from Middlesboro, Kentucky. I get up every morning to a beautiful mountain view. My comute to work at Clinch Mountain Realty is about 25 miles through the countryside of farms and mountain scenery. I have only two stop signs with no red lights or traffic to speak of. The reason for telling you about my country life is because I know that many of you out there would love to do the same thing that I and many others have done. We moved back to a simple life with a slow pace. My listings on this site will be just a few , as we cant put everything we have here.
