US Classification:
715763, 715762, 715967, 717109
Abstract:
A method comprising associating a user interface object and a user interface state of a user interface, the user interface state being at least partially defined by respective configurations of a collection of user interface objects included within the user interface in the state. The method further includes receiving a link instruction identifying an association between the user interface object and a further user interface state. Additionally, the method includes processing the link instruction to associate the user interface object with the further user interface state. US Classification:
715835, 715733, 715765, 345473
Abstract:
A method is illustrated that comprises displaying a first visual representation of a set of object properties of a plurality of objects, and a second visual representation of a set of object properties of the plurality of objects, each object of the plurality of objects having a property. The method further includes receiving input selecting an object of the plurality of objects having the property, the property displayed as a transition of the selected object from the first visual representation to the second visual representation. The method additionally includes sorting the plurality of objects based upon the selected object to create a sorted plurality of objects. Further, the method includes generating transition timeline data that includes the sorted plurality of objects.

Production Of Fermented Food

View page
US Patent:
56396481, Jun 17, 1997
Filed:
Jun 2, 1995
Appl. No.:
8/458316
Inventors:
Stanley E. Mainzer - Burlingame CA
Sienna Yoast - La Honda CA
Robin M. Adams - San Francisco CA
Tony V. Palombella - San Francisco CA
Brian F. Schmidt - Half Moon Bay CA
Assignee:
Genencor International, Inc. - Rochester NY
International Classification:
C12N 938
C12N 120
C12N 1500
C07H 2104
US Classification:
435207
Abstract:
This invention discloses novel methods of making fermented food products such as yogurt. It also discloses novel Lactobacillus bulgaricus organisms for making fermented food products which are conditionally sensitive, that is, operate to metabolize a desired compound normally under the processing conditions for fermented food products but slow or decrease in activity beyond what is normal under the routine storage temperatures for the fermented food products. Such fermented food products exhibits improved shelf life and long-term taste.

Process For Producing Heterologous Polypeptides

View page
US Patent:
59393157, Aug 17, 1999
Filed:
May 1, 1995
Appl. No.:
8/432279
Inventors:
Robin Margaret Adams - San Francisco CA
Scott Douglas Power - San Bruno CA
David Brian Powers - San Francisco CA
James Allen Wells - San Mateo CA
Daniel George Yansura - Pacifica CA
International Classification:
C12N 1500
US Classification:
4353201
Abstract:
Processes for producing various heterologous polypeptides which when expressed are either incorrectly processed and hence asssociated with the surface of the host cell or are not processed to mature form. More specifically, processes for the production of heterologous non-human carbonyl hydrolases expressed either in host cells incapable of producing enzymatically active endoprotease or host cells deficient in enzymatically active extracellular endoprotease are disclosed. Such non-human carbonyl hydrolases generally are incapable of autoproteolytic maturation and become associated with the surface of expression hosts which are deficient in enzymatically active extracellular endoprotease. Processes for preparing non-human carbonyl hydrolase and heterologous polypeptides which are expressed as part of a fusion polypeptide are also disclosed, as well as non-human carbonyl hydrolases which are substantially free of the host cell membrane with which they are normally associated.
