Abstract:
A stabilization device can determine a condition of a human foot and can include a body, a pad, and a sensor. The body can be coupleable to a human foot. The pad can be coupleable to a distal portion of the body, and the pad can be configured to interface with a walking surface. The sensor can be securable to one of the body and the pad and the sensor can be configured to produce a sensor signal as a function of a sensed condition of the stabilization device.

Abstract:
Example implants, systems and methods using sensors for orthopedic surgical assessment and/or planning are described herein. An example system can include a wearable sensor device for pre-operative use by a patient before an orthopedic surgery to generate pre-operative sensor data. The system can also include an implantable sensor device (e.g., a bone implant) to generate and aggregate post-operative sensor data associated with the patient after the surgery. The system can retrieve the pre-operative sensor data and the post-operative sensor data and predict, analyze or assess an outcome of the surgery.

Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a shoulder prosthesis. The shoulder prosthesis includes a glenoid component, a humeral component, and an articulation component. The glenoid component includes a glenoid body having a proximal side and a distal side, the distal side shaped to engage with a resected portion of a glenoid cavity. The humeral component includes a humeral body having a proximal side and a distal side, the distal side shaped to engage with a resected portion of a humerus. The articulation component is positionable between the proximal side of the glenoid component and the proximal side of the humeral component, the articulation component configured to be maintained between the glenoid and humeral components, after implantation, by at least one of a deltoid muscle and a rotator cuff.
