View page
US Patent:
20210256761, Aug 19, 2021
Filed:
Feb 11, 2021
Appl. No.:
17/173711
Inventors:
- EINDHOVEN, NL
Daksha YADAV - CAMBRIDGE MA, US
Olaitan Philip OLALEYE - CAMBRIDGE MA, US
Arhum SAVERA - CAMBRIDGE MA, US
Yizhou ZANG - CAMBRIDGE MA, US
International Classification:
G06T 15/20
G06T 15/50
G06N 3/04
G06T 7/73
G06F 30/27
G06F 30/23
Abstract:
A system for generating two-dimensional images is provided. The system may include a controller configured to receive a three-dimensional design image. The controller may be further configured to generate a fake 2D image based on the 3D design image and one or more 3D image parameters, such as object orientation. The controller may be further configured to generate a realistic 2D image based on the fake 2D image and one or more image features. The controller may be further configured to evaluate a realism value of the realistic 2D image based on one or more real 2D images. The controller may be further configured to evaluate a detected orientation of the realistic 2D image. The controller may be further configured to update the realistic image generator based on the realism value or the detected orientation.

US Patent:
20200234492, Jul 23, 2020
Filed:
Jul 24, 2018
Appl. No.:
16/634161
Inventors:
- Eindhoven, NL
YUTING ZHANG - WINCHESTER MA, US
OLAITAN PHILIP OLALEYE - WAKEFIELD MA, US
SIRISHA RANGAVAJHALA - WAKEFIELD MA, US
International Classification:
G06T 17/05
G06T 11/20
H05B 47/11
Abstract:
A system and corresponding method is disclosed for monitoring and conducting large-scale performance verification of a city's lighting infrastructure. In particular, the current invention combines measurements of lighting performance measurements along city roadways with regulatory requirements for the roadways. In various embodiments, the current invention then presents a three-dimensional visualization of the 5 adequacy of existing roadway lighting with respect to these regulatory requirements.

US Patent:
20200029170, Jan 23, 2020
Filed:
Jan 9, 2018
Appl. No.:
16/476894
Inventors:
- EINDHOVEN, NL
HANUMA TEJA MADDALI - HYATTSVILLE MD, US
JASLEEN KAUR - MELROSE MA, US
OLAITAN PHILIP OLALEYE - WAKEFIELD MA, US
ABHISHEK MURTHY - ARLINGTON MA, US
ALEXANDRU DARIE - LINCOLN MA, US
TALMAI BRANDAO DE OLIVEIRA - NORTH ANDOVER MA, US
SIRISHA RANGAVAJHALA - WAKEFIELD MA, US
HASSAN MOHANNA - QUINCY MA, US
International Classification:
H04W 4/02
G08G 1/01
H05B 37/02
Abstract:
The described embodiments relate to systems, methods, and apparatuses for controlling a network of lights () according to whether people () who are observing the lights are visitors from a different location (). Visitors can be identified by using network connection data () that includes entries corresponding to personal devices of visitors to a city. The network connection data can be filtered to identify how many personal devices are associated with people visiting from a different city. If the number of visitors exceeds some threshold relative to non-visitors, a lighting arrangement in the city can be controlled to display features that would appeal to the visitors. The features can correspond to aspects of the city where the visitors are from and can therefore make the city more attractive.

US Patent:
20190268997, Aug 29, 2019
Filed:
Nov 7, 2017
Appl. No.:
16/347809
Inventors:
- EINDHOVEN, NL
HASSAN MOHANNA - QUINCY MA, US
SIRISHA RANGAVAJHALA - WAKEFIELD MA, US
OLAITAN PHILIP OLALEYE - WAKEFIELD MA, US
ROHIT KUMAR - HACKENSACK NJ, US
JASLEEN KAUR - MELROSE MA, US
ALEXANDRU DARIE - LINCOLN MA, US
TALMAI BRANDAO DE OLIVEIRA - NORTH ANDOVER MA, US
International Classification:
H05B 37/02
Abstract:
The described embodiments relate to systems, methods, and apparatuses for controlling lights () in an area of a city () based on demographic data and/or mobility pattern data (). Using the demographic data and/Gall or the mobility pattern data, the lights can be arranged to attract people () to the area () where the lights are located. The mobility pattern data can be used to identify when people are typically moving towards the area, in order that the lights can be prepared to attract people in advance of their arrival. Furthermore, an output of the lights can be measured to measure certain characteristics about the lights so that the lights can be adjusted to better appeal to the demographic of people in the area.
