Abstract:
Some embodiments teach an apparatus for determining a proximity of one or more first Bluetooth devices. The apparatus can include: (a) at least one Bluetooth base station with (1) a Bluetooth transmitter configured to transmit one or more service discovery requests to the one or more first Bluetooth devices; and (2) a Bluetooth receiver configured to receive one or more responses from the one or more first Bluetooth devices to the one or more service discovery requests; and (b) a computational module configured to run on one or more processors and further configured to determine one or more approximate distances between the at least one Bluetooth base station and the one or more first Bluetooth devices based on the one or more responses from the one or more first Bluetooth devices. Abstract:
Multipurpose systems can include networked devices configured to include microphones, motion sensors, video cameras, touchscreens, optical sensors, speakers, or other suitable devices. The networked devices can include networking capabilities that enable the networked device to communicate with target devices and other networked devices. A system of networked devices can identify a target location or a target device by analyzing audio signals received at microphones of the networked devices. For example, a plurality of networked devices can identify a particular networked device that is in closest proximity to a user by analyzing an audio intensity of an audio signal received at the plurality of networked devices. The identified networked device can serve as a master device that can control a state of target devices.

Abstract:
Artificial intelligence-based, intelligent agent (IA) services may include an IA server assisting users of a wireless network in various communication scenarios (e.g., calls, texts, chats, etc.). A user may specify rules for managing communications directed to a User Equipment (UE) of the user. Examples of such rules may include intercepting an incoming call to the user, managing the call based on whether the user is available, determining a reason for an incoming call and notifying the user about the reason, inviting the user to join the call, adding other users to the call, recording portions of the call, providing requested information, taking notes, scheduling meetings, and providing other assistant-type services, etc. The IA services may also include monitoring, interpreting, and responding to information that is sent to, or by, the user, during a communication, in addition to implementing Machine Learning procedures for self-improvement.
