A01N 59/00
A01N 25/02
A01N 25/22
A01N 55/00
Abstract:
A disinfecting solution is provided including hypochlorous acid and chlorine stabilizer. The hypochlorous acid can exist in the solution at a concentration of 0.1 to 1000 ppm. The chlorine stabilizer may be 0.1 to 50 percent by weight of the solution. The chlorine stabilizer may be cyanuric acid.

Intravenous Fluid Bag With An Integrated Valve Having A Seal With A Compressed State That Permits Fluid Flow Into The Bag And A Relaxed State Preventing Fluid Flow

View page
US Patent:
20210369564, Dec 2, 2021
Filed:
Aug 17, 2021
Appl. No.:
17/404661
Inventors:
- Buffalo Grove IL, US
Michael D. Kilcran - Antioch IL, US
Assignee:
Parasol Medical LLC - Buffalo Grove IL
International Classification:
A61J 1/14
A61J 1/10
A61M 39/24
A61M 39/04
Abstract:
An intravenous fluid bag comprising: a primary chamber configured to retain a liquid; a valve in fluid communication with the primary chamber, the valve including a housing, a spike element, and a seal, with the housing surrounding the seal, which surrounds the spike element; the spike element having a first end culminating in a tip, a second end having an inner conduit, and one or more through holes between the tip and the second end in fluid communication with the inner conduit forming part of a continuous liquid passageway in fluid communication with the primary chamber; the seal having a relaxed state preventing fluid flow through the valve, and the seal having a compressed state through which the through holes of the spike element extend allowing fluid flow from a source external the intravenous fluid bag, through the through holes, through the inner conduit, and into the primary chamber.

Portable Pump For Negative Pressure Wound Therapy

View page
US Patent:
20210038774, Feb 11, 2021
Filed:
Oct 27, 2020
Appl. No.:
16/949354
Inventors:
- Buffalo Grove IL, US
Lucas W. Stephens - Lowell MI, US
Jacob D. Stephens - Lowell MI, US
Camryn R. Delooff - Munster IN, US
Michael D. Kilcran - Antioch IL, US
Assignee:
Parasol Medical, LLC - Buffalo Grove IL
International Classification:
A61M 1/00
Abstract:
A portable pump is provided for negative pressure wound therapy for drawing a vacuum from a wound site via a tube. The pump includes an inlet configured to attach the tube from the wound site; a canister in fluid communication with the inlet for collecting fluids drained from the wound site; and a manually-actuated pump mechanism for creating the vacuum. The pump mechanism includes a vacuum chamber in fluid communication with the canister; a piston disposed in the vacuum chamber; and a pump handle coupled to the piston to move the piston in the vacuum chamber between first and second positions to create the vacuum. The pump handle moving between a retracted position and an extended position. The piston is in the first position when said pump handle is in the retracted position and is in the second position when said pump handle is in the extended position.

Patient Movement And Incontinence Notification Devices

View page
US Patent:
20200005622, Jan 2, 2020
Filed:
Aug 20, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/545081
Inventors:
- Buffalo Grove IL, US
Michael Kilcran - Antioch IL, US
International Classification:
G08B 21/20
A61B 5/11
A61B 5/20
A61B 5/00
A61F 13/42
G08B 21/04
Abstract:
A notification device is provided that includes a sensor pad, and an electronics module generates one or more notifications in response to signals received from the sensor pad. In a first embodiment, the sensor pad includes a pressure sensor for sensing pressure applied by a patient and generating a pressure signal, and conductive tracings for sensing moisture due to incontinence and generating a moisture detection signal when moisture is detected. In another embodiment, an absorbent sensor pad includes a sensor pad for sensing moisture and includes an absorbent chuck having a moisture-impermeable sheet with an absorbent material on an upper surface thereof, wherein the moisture-impermeable sheet has an aperture for receiving the sensor pad. The absorbent sensor pad may be provided in the form of a diaper.

Electronic Vacuum Regulator Device
