She has been in the real estate business for almost 30 years and has been a Broker for more than 25 of those years. During that time she has gained experience as a REALTOR®, Broker/Agent, Sales Manager, and Broker/Owner. She is licensed in California and Alabama where she hangs her license in beautiful Huntsville. Melinda specializes in working with distressed properties sales and purchases of short sales and foreclosures, relocations, commercial sales and leasing. Recognized as one of the top REALTORS® in Orange County by the Orange Coast Magazine, Melinda has been for many years a member of the Pacific West Association of REALTORS® (PWAOR), the Orange County Association of REALTORS® (OCAR), the California Association of REALTORS® (CAR), the Alabama Association of REALTORS® the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), the Huntsville Area Assication of REALTORS® and she sits on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals in Orange County, CA (NAHREP). She also gives back to the community volunteering with The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, The Special Olympics, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and Cure Autism Now, many women's organizations that help battered women and their children, and Habitat for Humanity. To date EXIT Realty has donated over $2 Million to Habitat for Humanity and built more than 10 Habitat Homes. Originally from Nashville, TN, Melinda is the only girl out of 6 siblings. She moved to California when she was 2 and lived in Orange County for 39 years. In her free time Melinda enjoys music and wine collecting, but her personal passion is hockey; she has been a fan of the NHL for many years. If it is hockey season you can find her at the "Pond" on game days, but never more than a phone call away!
