Filed:
Nov 22, 2006
Appl. No.:
11/603540
Inventors:
Matthew Crass - Pleasant Prairie WI, US
Thomas Becker - Kenosha WI, US
Matthew Marquette - Omaha NE, US
Richard Hacki - Milwaukee WI, US
Paul Beyerl - Waterford WI, US
Marvin Thorell - Racine WI, US
International Classification:
B25B 23/14
US Classification:
073862210
Abstract:
An electronic torque-angle instrument including a generally tubular body having a gripping section and a pivoting head for engaging a workpiece, such as a nut or bolt, and a housing associated with the body and containing electronics, including a microprocessor, which permit individual or simultaneous measurement of torque and angle applied to the workpiece. The microprocessor includes stored programs which interpret a signal from an input, such as a gyroscopic sensor, and sends the interpreted signal to an output means. The signal is finally displayed as an accurate torque measure and/or angle measure from the output means

Abstract:
Fire suppression systems () for vehicles and industrial applications including arrangements of an input bus () and output bus () coupled to a centralized controller () to provide for automatic and manual detection of a fire (H) and manual and automatic system actuation in response to the fire. The arrangements further provide for system information regarding the status and operation of the system components. Additionally, the arrangement of system components provide for expandability and programmability to configure the system for the protection of multiple and variable hazards (H) using customized or programmed detection and/or actuation. The systems include configured connectors () and colour coded schemes to facilitate system installation.

International Classification:
A62C 37/00
G05B 15/02
G05D 7/06
Abstract:
A vehicle fire suppression system includes a centralized controller, a detecting circuit, a releasing circuit, and a processor in communication with a monitoring circuit. The detecting circuit is coupled to the centralized controller and configured to indicate a detection of a fire. The releasing circuit includes an actuating device coupled to the centralized controller through an output bus. The actuating device is coupled to a supply of fire fighting agent. The centralized controller is configured to activate the actuating device to release the fire fighting agent to address the fire in response to the detection of the fire. The processor and the monitoring circuit are configured to determine if there is a fault in at least one of the detecting circuit and the releasing circuit.
