View page
US Patent:
58558233, Jan 5, 1999
Filed:
May 16, 1997
Appl. No.:
8/857868
Inventors:
Bruce S. MacGibbon - Oswego OR
Christopher P. Sirovy - Tigard OR
Mark C. Wolochuk - Portland OR
Travis J. Addington - Portland OR
Chuck K. McCabe - Mission Viejo CA
Greg A. Marvell - Lake Oswego OR
Assignee:
Huntair Inc. - Tigard OR
International Classification:
B01F 304
F24F 610
US Classification:
261142
Abstract:
The present invention is a humidifier that provides uniformly controlled generation of water vapor into an air stream. Steel wool is placed into a heating section of a humidifier water reservoir, where vapor is produced, to create an even distribution of vapor exiting the humidifier. A perforated plate is horizontally inserted into the heating section above the steel wool, thereby holding it in place and aiding in the even distribution of vapor from the humidifier.

Airflow Control Valve For A Clean Room

View page
US Patent:
61929220, Feb 27, 2001
Filed:
Jun 1, 1999
Appl. No.:
9/323591
Inventors:
Bruce S. MacGibbon - Lake Oswego OR
Mark C. Wolochuk - Portland OR
Lee I. Wolochuk - Portland OR
Christopher P. Sirovy - Beaverton OR
James F. LeBaron - Portland OR
Jeffrey W. Yarroll - Salem OR
Assignee:
Synetics Solutions Inc. - Tigard OR
International Classification:
G05D 706
F16K 308
US Classification:
137486
Abstract:
An airflow control valve for a clean room having a duct section with a damper positioned within the duct. The damper being capable of an adjustment from an open position to a closed position. The opening and closing of the duct is accomplished through a magnetic coupling such that the duct can remain sealed during operation. The airflow control valve includes a sensor for measuring the airflow rate, so that the duct can be adjusted to maintain one or more predetermined flow rate set-points.

Volumetric Airflow Indicator And Control Device

View page
US Patent:
61867446, Feb 13, 2001
Filed:
Jun 15, 1998
Appl. No.:
9/097561
Inventors:
Mark C. Wolochuk - Portland OR
Assignee:
Synetics Solutions Inc. - Tigard OR
International Classification:
F04B 4906
US Classification:
417 442
Abstract:
A device for measuring and automatically controlling the volumetric rate of air through an air handling system used in connection with clean rooms. A desired volumetric air rate is maintained by measuring air pressure differentials between different locations in the system. The volumetric air rate is adjusted by using a variable frequency drive to adjust the speed of the fan in response to a measured pressure differential.
