Abstract:
A rotary engine anti-spin oil seal arrangement has a wave spring with tabs that project from each side and face in opposite angular directions so that one tab on one spring side catches in a hole in the bottom of the oil seal groove in the engine's rotor and a tab on the other spring side catches in a hole in the backside of the oil seal to prevent the oil seal from spinning in the oil seal groove while providing the same spring loading on the oil seal regardless of which may the wave spring is installed in the oil seal groove.

Abstract:
An injector has a solenoid armature that displaces a valve from its seat to deliver a charge of fuel and air directly into the combustion chamber of a two-stroke cycle internal combustion engine. When a valve return spring closes the valve against its seat to terminate delivery of the fuel-air charge, the armature separates from the valve stem, and the kinetic energy of the aramture is dissipated by a resilient disk or ring. An adjustment is accessible at the end of the valve stem to establish the valve closing force of the return spring, an adjusting screw establishes the distance between the open and closed positions of the valve, and another adjusting screw positions the resilient disk.

Abstract:
A fluid rail assembly supports a fuel metering injector and a charge delivery on an engine. The charge delivery injector includes flutes spaced about the interior of the nozzle to promote formation and delivery of a charge of fuel and air having desired spray characteristics. The fluid rail body includes passages that provide air to assist in delivering fuel from the fuel metering injector to through the charge delivery injector to the engine, the passages being constructed to inhibit back flow of fuel therethrough.

Abstract:
A fuel rail containing injectors for delivering fuel to an engine has a large passage supplying fuel to the injectors and a small fuel return passage. The injectors are received in sockets each of which has a restricted vent extending to the return passage. The fuel rail is formed by molding or extruding a body with the supply and return passages, and a single circular plug at one end provides a closure for the associated ends of both the supply and return passages.
