My Professional Planning Background Provided Neighborhood Familiarity Professional Experience: I spent 10 years in public service experiencing neighborhood planning & development. This pertinent professional experience gave me hands-on familiarity with the turf and territories that homeowners have come to love in central Ohio... I personally inspected thousands of homes and professionally reviewed plans for business buildings in and around Genoa & Orange townships, where I managed the record pace of construction and was in charge of zoning administration in the southern Delaware County region between 1996 - 2007. My career position in zoning came out of the newspaper reporting I was doing. My coverage of local planning meetings followed Powell's & Liberty Township's earliest development years. I have therefore somewhat of a historical perspective (which dates me too). I lived in Grandview for four years while I attended OSU; bought and sold my mother a home in Clintonville in 1985 when she came to live closer to her first grandchild (My #1 & only son). And I lived in an old former Cabanna Club rental house on Main Street in Reynoldsburg when I first got married and came to the central Ohio area in 1976. I know a lot more neighborhoods than that too...I will show you the very best if you want to see how good Columbus looks when you know where to look! My Personal Side... Personal: I have two grown children who will be buying homes soon (I'm sure of it!) I am very creative and I apply my skills to the amateur choreogrpahy I do...
