Lannie L. Stegall - Lexington KY, 40514
International Classification:
B65B 104
US Classification:
141 1, 141 65, 4323, 137899
Abstract:
A wastewater drainage system for a vehicle, such as a recreational vehicle (RV), is provided. The system includes a pump, such as a macerator pump, in selective fluid communication with the black water tank and the gray water tank, and a drainage hose connected to the exit end of the pump for directing wastewater to a wastewater storage area. The system allows the RV user to clean the black water tank using water from the gray water tank, and allows gray water to be stored in the black water tank so that less time is spent draining the tanks and more time is spent enjoying the RV experience.

The storage mechanism increases accessibility to various parts within the service bay area, and also reduces safety risk associated with emptying the wastewater compartments commonly found in RVs.

In-Pump Gray Water Bypass System

View page
US Patent:
20090014079, Jan 15, 2009
Filed:
Jun 12, 2008
Appl. No.:
12/138138
Inventors:
Lannie L. STEGALL - Lexington KY, US
International Classification:
B60R 15/00
US Classification:
137899, 137 1
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to adapting an existing macerating pump to allow fluid arriving at the inlet side of the pump to travel to the discharge port of the pump without requiring the pump to be operating. In particular, a passageway is made from the inlet port to the discharge port which bypasses the impeller portion of the pump. In this way, fluids and slurries may pass through the pump even though the pump is turned off.

Method And Apparatus For Forming A Trench

View page
US Patent:
54781698, Dec 26, 1995
Filed:
Sep 13, 1993
Appl. No.:
8/121042
Inventors:
Lannie L. Stegall - Versailles KY
International Classification:
E02B 500
US Classification:
405119
Abstract:
A trench forming assembly and removable form for forming a trench of predetermined shape is disclosed according to the present invention. The removable form includes an elongate form body having top, bottom and opposed side surfaces and first and second elongate form removal slots extending upwardly from the bottom surface of the form body. Preferably the removable form has a top surface defining a complex shape including at least a first upwardly extending ear portion which extends longitudinally along the top surface. At least a first form removal slot of this elongate form body extends into a portion of the first ear portion. Advantageously, the form body includes a pair of coplanar elongate slots integrally formed in the side surfaces for receiving a pair of frame members in a predetermined coplanar, spaced relationship above the bottom surface of the form body. In another embodiment, a removable form includes a second elongate form body portion extending laterally along one side surface of the elongate form body and having a predetermined shape for forming a structure having a corresponding shape, such as a curb.

Method For Cutting Complexly Shaped Foamed Plastic Bodies From A Workpiece And Foam Body Products

View page
US Patent:
55733506, Nov 12, 1996
Filed:
Jul 13, 1994
Appl. No.:
8/274627
Inventors:
Lannie L. Stegall - Versailles KY
Assignee:
ABT, Inc. - Troutman NC
International Classification:
E02B 500
US Classification:
405119
Abstract:
A method for cutting first and second complementary foamed plastic bodies of a predetermined shape from a single workpiece includes the step of moving a linear cutting element through the workpiece. The linear cutting element, such as a heated wire, is moved through the workpiece to form a first surface which forms a portion of the predetermined shape of the first and second foamed plastic bodies. The workpiece is thereafter shifted in position relative to the linear cutting element and the linear cutting element is again moved through the shifted workpiece to form a second surface. Due to the shifting of the workpiece, the first surface is sloped relative to the second surface. The first and second foamed plastic bodies are preferably first and second trench forms defining the shapes of different sections of a trench drain which has a continuously sloped bottom surface.
