I have adored the Outer Banks ever since vacationing here as a child.In 1992 I spent one of the best summers of my life living here, knowing that someday I'd return to make it my home!Born and raised in Richmond, VA I stayed close to home to attend college at Virginia Commonwealth University and the Medical College of VA where I studied Radiology. After living in Southern California for two years and spending extended amounts of time in the Florida Keys, I returned to Richmond where I began a career in digital document management & printing for the litigation, architectural & engineering markets.I later turned my professional focus to off-site data protection & disaster recovery. As an Account Manager working for a large, publically-held, global company, I represented much of VA's clientele base, servicing some of our company's largest accounts such as the Federal Reserve, Dominion Power, Bank of America, Capital One, Towers Perrin, UNOS, and many more. I have a special knack for valuing client's needs and have continually excelled in markets due to my ability to forge quality relationships.I pride myself in being easily accessible to clients, am Authentic, resourceful, dedicated, trust-worthy, with loads of integrity and believe in holding the utmost discretion when handling personal client information. In addition, I'm a kick-butt, take-names, roll-up-my-sleeves, no-time-to-waste, I-want-results-right-NOW kind of gal!My entrepreneurial spirit plays a role as the Owner/Operator of OBX Island Childcare, a professional babysitting service serving the visiting families and corporate/wedding events of the northern Outer Banks.In 2003 I made this local treasure my home when I married my husband, a long-time resident himself. Steve and I live in Southern Shores and enjoy our time living and raising a family here in such a tightly-knit community. We are the proud parents of three amazing children, Grayson (14), Greer (9) & Ripley (7). Watching them grow and thrive in our community while offering them the opportunity to foster a close relationship with the ocean is priceless. We are active in our community's schools and athletic leagues, love to spend time with friends and family on the beach or boating and enjoy visiting the great local restaurants and entertainment.In my spare time I practice yoga & breath-based meditation, enjoy biking, reading, watching my children play sports and walking my dog, Edie while collecting beach glass.
