Abstract:
In a cooking vessel for use in a microwave oven, a microwave cooking vessel comprises a vessel a having a bottom surface, a body wall, and an open region, wherein the open region extends upwardly from the bottom surface to terminate at the peripheral flange; a heating element adapted to convert microwave radiation into thermal energy, the heating element composed primarily of a mixture of elastic material and ferrite particles, wherein the top face of the heating element is attached to the outer bottom surface of the vessel so as to distribute heat along the bottom of the vessel; and a cover having a dome-shape and comprising a handle for engaging and disengaging the cover onto the vessel, plurality of apertures which provides a pathway for heated air and moisture so that the cover does not disengage from the vessel when the microwave cooking vessel is in use, and an annular flange which sits on the peripheral flange of the vessel when the cover is engaged to the vessel, wherein the cover is composed primarily of microwave radiation reflecting material so as to reflect microwave radiation and preserve the taste of foodstuff being cooked in the microwave cooking vessel.

An intuitive POI map search comprises steps of: presenting a graphical map; selecting an area portion of the graphical map; determining and storing geocodes for the selected portion; providing search keywords; performing a search on a database using the stored geocodes and the provided search keywords; and displaying the search results. An intuitive POI map search system includes a region selector, a geocode taker, an address extractor, a keyword provider, and a search engine. The region selector selects a second geographic region out of a first geographic region. The geocode taker obtains geocodes for points inside the second geographic region. The address extractor obtains addresses out of the corresponding geocodes. The keyword provider provides search keywords. The search engine performs searches on a database with the geocodes, the extracted address, and the search keywords.

A vacuum box having features ideal for utilization with an overlock sewing machine housed in a flat-bed table in a garment factory setting. The vacuum flat-bed table of an overlock sewing machine. The vacuum box is a receptacle having bottom, top, left, right, front, and rear walls. A portion of the front wall can have an opening covered by a hingably mounted door panel. The receptacle has a first compartment and a second compartment. The first compartment is sealed-off from the first compartment and has a electric outlet placed therein placed along the left or right wall. A suction fan is located in the second compartment. A horizontally sliding top panel is placed above the top surface of the top wall. The top panel is pivotally connected to guide slots placed along the front and back wall of the receptacle in a manner which allows the top panel to be extended horizontally to increase the top surface and drawn in to reduce the top surface. The vacuum box of the present invention uses dual flexible vacuum hoses for maximal suction effect.
