Surveying and Engineering Equipment: - Lecia, Trimble, Topcon and Geodimeter Reflectorless and Robotic Total Stations, including Trimble VX / S6 -Various optically and digitally Total Stations, including top mount EDMs (Topcon, Nikon, Wild, etc.) - Note keeping and data entry for data collection, including TDS Ranger and Husky, Sokkia, Topcon, onboard collectors, and of course, paper notes for all standard surveying procedures and operations. -In depth familiarity with TDS Data Collection and transfer software, familiar with other collection packages - Extensive experience in string, figure and codework techniques to accommodate automated CAD systems - Training and field experience in GPS applications (Static GPS Observations, Construction stakeout, utility and boundary surveys with RTK and Base Receivers) - 3D High Density Scanning with the Riegl LMS-Z210i and the Leica Scanstation HDS 3000 - Experience in point cloud rendering, TIN surfacing and finite element modeling for surveying, engineering and statistical analysis dating from 1992. - 20" Vernier read transit w/stadia intercept hairs and 300' steel tape - Standard surveying line and field equipment - Brunton hand transit, hand level and clinometer - Scientific calculators and trigonometric tables - Standard survey drafting equipment and procedures (including Xerox and blueline copiers) Computer Software, Hardware, Networking and Database Skills: - Strong competency in all non-network versions of Microsoft Windows and DOS operating systems. - Strong competency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop and other productivity software - Competency in basic single server LAN maintenance & management tasks Portable Skills: Problem solving: - defining problems, identifying essential questions, critically evaluating solutions.
