I saved one dollar at a time, and made my first purchase before the age of 30. Years later, following my retirement from the Marine Corps, I continued to invest in properties, and consult friends on how to negotiate the home search and purchase process. After spending many years as a handy-man, property investor and manager, I followed my calling to become a Real Estate professional.
