Threw myself as a human shield to protect my friends at the age of two. By four, I was getting scolded by the nursery mom for yelling at her to stop making the new kid cry, by five i was forced to sit under the table for the remainder of kindergarden class because i spoke when asked not to. When I was six, I got caught breaking into my teachers classroom to get to the candy and stickers stash that i felt were unfairly distributed amongst the class. I lost recess priviledges for a week. By seven, i was shunning my classmates to befriend the class outsider. Her name was Holly. The next year it was Jessica. Then it was an overweight girl named April. The last year of elementary school i befriended the horribly taunted indian girl from the res. She spoke no english and so I just kinda smiled and hung around. Then in junior high it was all over. I became a royal mess. That went on for a long time. But now I've a teen son, Brennan, and without him my mess would have consumed me. He's my guardian angel. i'm his underdog. lol, go mom, u can do it!
