Raymond J. McQuade - Ontario NY
Assignee:
Xerox Corporation - Stamford CT
International Classification:
G03G 1520
US Classification:
355290
Abstract:
A pressure roll that forms a fusing nip with a fuser roll in a fusing system has a core and a surface coating having been heat cured from a composition of a fluorocarbon polymer and an irregularly shaped, nonplanar, inert filler having a hardness greater than 8 Mohs, the filler having a nominal particles size of from about 10 to 30 microns and being present in the cured surface coating in an amount of from about 10% to 40% by weight of the total solids weight of the coating.

Development Roller

View page
US Patent:
61546267, Nov 28, 2000
Filed:
Nov 5, 1998
Appl. No.:
9/186091
Inventors:
Alan M. Litman - Webster NY
Jorge A. Alvarez - Webster NY
Jerome P. Chasko - Williamson NY
Assignee:
Xerox Corporation - Stamford CT
International Classification:
G03G 1508
US Classification:
399282
Abstract:
A development roller for use in a machine in which marking particles are advanced toward a latent image to form a developed image is provided. The development roller includes a conductive body. The conductive body includes a central portion, a peripheral portion spaced from the central portion, and a support structure interconnecting the peripheral portion to the central portion. The development roller also includes a semiconductive material applied to an outer periphery of the conductive body.

Apparatus And Method For Improved Blotter Roller Permeability

View page
US Patent:
54248132, Jun 13, 1995
Filed:
May 23, 1994
Appl. No.:
8/247737
Inventors:
Edward L. Schlueter - Rochester NY
Lucille M. Sharf - Pittsford NY
Joseph Mammino - Penfield NY
Jerome P. Chasko - Williamson NY
Christine J. Tarnawskyj - Webster NY
Assignee:
Xerox Corporation - Stamford CT
International Classification:
G03G 2100
US Classification:
355256
Abstract:
A roller for increasing the rate of permeability of liquid carrier from an image formed from a liquid developer comprised of toner particles and liquid carrier. Perforations formed through the skin covering of the blotter roller provide high quality transfer of an image having maximum toner particles and minimal liquid carrier to a final copy sheet, at an increased process speed.
