Bragging Rights:
I initiated a new women's group in Naples Fl, called Circles of Purpose, for women in recovery....we are 16 strong and been up and running for 8 weeks now! I once turned down a date with Jack Nicholson, the actor [my sons said "are you crazy Mom!"...uh no just a little overwhelmed! LOL ! My sons Godfather is Jack Nicholson's nephew. I Participated in 2 years of Recovery Month Walks, Liberty State Park, NJ. In 2005 interviewed and introduced President Gerald Ford's son; Steven Ford as our keynote speaker, with over 3,000 attendees at the walk. I was blessed to tell "my story" at the House of Representatives in Washington DC, was a participant in a Public Service Announcement for "Recovery Happens Everyday and We are Living Proof of it" through Voices of Hope Productions/Lori McDaniels NCADD NJ
