Description:
Being as close to a native Texan as you can get without actually being born here, I convinced my parents (at the age of 1) that California just wasn't the place for me and Texas was where I wanted to be. Dad promptly put in for a transfer to Laughlin Air Force base located just outside the tiny border town of Del Rio, Texas. After graduating from Del Rio High I moved to College Station and attended Texas A&M University. Having a roommate from the Austin area was all it took to convince me that the cool, hip town of Austin was my next stop. So in December of 1997, with job offer in hand from a local technology company, Dad and I packed up my few belongings and moved me to Austin. My intention was only to stay a couple of years before my next adventure. That was 12 years ago. I left the corporate world in 2006 because my real estate hobby was starting to become a rather distracting obsession. We've all heard the adage, "if you're passionate about what you do, success will follow." So I decided to follow my passion and become a real estate agent. Turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. I genuinely love what I do and consider myself blessed to call real estate my career. My philosophy is based on two simple principles: honesty and education. As such, I strive to set realistic, data driven expectations. My goal is to make the home buying/selling process as transparent as possible. To educate, guide and empower my clients through the entire transaction. Complete data allows knowledgeable, well informed decisions to be made, so in the end, after all the papers have been signed, my clients are thoroughly excited about the transaction. And you can't be excited about a transaction if you don't understand it. http://www.lindendwell.com/
