To be considered for recognition of Distinguished, the club must either have 20 members or a net growth of at least five new members as of June 30. The club must also achieve several goals in various categories including Education, Administration, Membership, and Training. By achieving (7) of (10) such goals, Essex Toastmasters has received the status of SELECT DISTINGUISHED CLUB - just (3) goals shy of the President's Distinguished Club.
