Stack Handling And Handwork Table

View page
US Patent:
6971837, Dec 6, 2005
Filed:
Dec 31, 2003
Appl. No.:
10/750514
Inventors:
Rollan Williams - Urbana OH, US
Jared Sebree - Columbus OH, US
Assignee:
Honda Motor Co., Ltd. - Tokyo
International Classification:
B65G057/00
US Classification:
4147895, 254 9 C, 414288, 41433101
Abstract:
A part handling and handwork table including a lift assembly, a drive assembly, a stack support assembly, and a part support beam assembly. The lift assembly is raised/lowered to properly position the stack support assembly adjacent a cart containing a series of stacks, one of which is to be lifted to access a rework part incorporated therein. The drive assembly is operated to drive a movable member of the stack support assembly into the cart and beneath the stack containing the rework part. The lift is further raised and the drive assembly is reversed to carry the stack out of the cart on the movable member of the stack support assembly. The part support beam assembly is secured to the movable member and includes a manually withdrawn movable portion that defines a surface upon which parts from the stack of parts may be placed so as to access or reveal the rework part.

Disengaging Socket Extension

View page
US Patent:
20210031340, Feb 4, 2021
Filed:
Jul 29, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/524400
Inventors:
- Tokyo, JP
Jared Daniel SEBREE - Franklin IN, US
International Classification:
B25B 23/00
B25B 21/00
Abstract:
A socket extension assembly adapted to be driven by a power tool is disclosed. The shell surrounds a connector and drive subassembly that are fixedly attached to one another and in axial alignment. A biasing member is interposed between the shell and subassembly to provide disengagement of the drive and shell in a natural state, and engagement and transmission of rotation when axial force is applied to mate the drive and shell. This enables a fastener to be loaded into the socket as usual and hand-started while the fastener is already loaded into the socket. After confirmation that the threads are properly and sufficiently aligned and engaged into the mating threads, the fastening process can be completed by applying axial pressure to transmit the rotational force from the power tool via the bit and the drive to the socket stem.

Fastener Holder Tool And Method

View page
US Patent:
20190054602, Feb 21, 2019
Filed:
Aug 15, 2017
Appl. No.:
15/677067
Inventors:
- Tokyo, JP
Jared Daniel Sebree - Hilliard OH, US
International Classification:
B25B 23/10
B25B 23/00
Abstract:
A fastener holder tool and method includes a fastener shaft having a fastener shaft distal end configured for complementary engagement with a fastener and first and second collars slidably mounted on the fastener shaft. The first collar has a base portion annularly disposed about the fastener shaft and a plurality of teeth arms extending from the base portion in a direction toward the fastener shaft distal end for resiliently holding the associated fastener. The second collar has a body portion annularly disposed about the fastener shaft and radially interposed between the fastener shaft and the plurality of teeth arms of the first collar. The fastener holder tool further includes a cam engagement between the first collar and the second collar that moves the plurality of teeth arms radially outwardly for releasing the associated fastener as the associated fastener is fully installed into an associated workpiece.
