About:
Newspaper columnist, radio essayist, mother of three grownups. Married to Harry Landers.
Bragging Rights:
I won a couple of Virginia Press Association awards for editorial writing. Um, I was prom queen at an all-boys school. (Austin Prep.) That's about it. Oh wait: In 2001, I published a collection of my radio essays "Birdseed Cookies: A Fractured Memoir." Sold a couple thousand copies, which ain't bad, considering.
