These are great programs with no or low down to help you get out of the rental market and into a home. Fannie Mae Homepath properties are also a great program to check out. With as little down as 3% with no private mortgage insurance or appraisal you can often find a home with great potential at a great price. Many conventional products are also available up to 97% with a choice of Lender or Borrower paid Mortgage insurance as well as Split MI which allows more flexibility. For those homes that need upgrades, repairs or renovations, check out the FHA 203K Program or Homepath Renovation. These programs allow ease on your pocketbook while financing the repairs into the loan for up to 110% of completed value! Consider the savings you could have on cash flow while financing those new windows, countertops, cabinets, flooring and more! This is a great option to have your personal style added to the home!
