Education:
Community College of Aurora 2004 - 2007
none, Respiratory TherapyStudied Respiratory Therapy for two semesters (the first year of a two-year program), including prerequisites taken part-time at both Arapahoe Community College and Community College of Aurora from 2004 until 2006. Although I decided not to finish the program, I gained invaluable education in anatomy & physiology of the respiratory and cardiovascular systems, oxygen therapy, cardiopulmonary pharmacology and the basics of physics (especially as it relates to anatomy and physiology). There were many things I learned that added to what I had learned in my vet tech education. We did not have physics at Bel-Rea, so when I learned about gas laws in the respiratory therapy courses, it made anesthesia make so much more sense to me. Oxygen therapy is also something that would be easy to apply to veterinary medicine. Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology 1996 - 1998
