Helen has called The Parkway her home for just over twenty years and as a long-time resident, has extensive knowledge of Boston and the surrounding neighborhoods in Greater Boston. She has owned and operated a real estate appraisal firm in West Roxbury since 1999, and has been a certified licensed real estate appraiser for the past twenty years. Her credentials include appraising under the FHA and VA loan criteria, complex and unique properties, affordable housing as well as investment, waterfront and multi-million dollar homes. Her grandfather was an extraordinary real estate broker and developer in the early part of the last century, while her mother also tried her hand in the family business. You might say it is in her blood. She decided in 2007 to use her extensive real estate knowledge to sell homes as well as appraise them. Her thorough knowledge of construction components, styles, finishes and building construction combined with her appraising experience offer an added dimension to the real estate service she provides. Her membership in organizations such as The National Association of Realtors, The Greater Boston Association of Realtors and The Massachusetts Board of Real Estate Appraisers attest to her dedication to the real estate profession. Her knowledge of the market and the community, along with her education (B.S. Tufts University '85), work experience and warm interpersonal skills, enable her to provide expert advisory and negotiation services, to ensure an efficient, successful transaction and complete client satisfaction.
