Helen Gubin is the Broker of Gubin Realty and has been in Real Estate for over 30 years, as such she has seen a number of swings in the market. Helen is married to Steve and together they have 5 children and 5 grandchildren. She came to Phoenix in 1976 from New York City via Los Angeles. In her previous life she was a commercial textile designer in both cities, but after relocating in Phoenix she started a new career in Real Estate. She has loved it ever since. Helen started her business in the late 1970’s in Condos, Town Houses, Patio Homes, etc, and was part of the first condo conversion high-rise building in Phoenix. Over the years she has concentrated a great deal of time in the luxury home market, but she also works with first time buyers and sellers; those wanting to sell a larger home so they can downsize or a smaller home so they can go up in size or change locations; and investors looking for a sound investment. She is now partnering with her husband, Steve who brings years of experience in the building and real estate industry. His accomplishments have been many and impressive. Helen moved to Arizona in the early 50’s and graduated in the first graduating class of Phoenix Camelback High in 1956. That was followed by attendance at Arizona State University. Steve is a veteran having served in the 915th Army Engineer Corp, Navy medical core, and the 3rd Marine Division. He was the founder of Wilson Electric a leading contractor in the South West. His exposure to Real Estate began in the 1980’s when he acquired several commercial and residential properties as investments. Acquiring a real estate license he further expanded his experience working with his wife, Helen in the luxury residential market. “I want to expand my involvement in the market and know that I can be a valuable resource for clients looking for either a commercial or residential property.
