Additional Skills I have worked in the education system for 10 years, 9 with Rapides Parish School Board. I have used a multitude of software, web based systems and various types of hardware and technology equipment in my classroom. These include but are not limited to Promethean Board, Document Cameras, iPods and iPads, OnCourse Systems, Odyssey, Promethean Planet, Discovery Education, Eagle, Power School. I have spent 9 years aligning lessons in all subject areas to the current standards in place. I have taught grades Pre-K-12th grade. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. 7 years' experience as a member of the Junior League of Alexandria. I have served on the executive board as Executive Secretary and on various committees to promote the Junior League's mission. I am currently serving as A Very Merry Market Ladies Night chairman, which is one of our league's largest fundraisers, and Provisional Admissions Chairman. I have served for one year on the Alexandria Dixie Girls' Softball Board of Directors. This year I was placed on the World Series Committee, specifically as the Banquet Chairman.
