Filed:
Feb 22, 1984
Appl. No.:
6/582323
Inventors:
Goran Hellman - Miami Lakes FL
Brian E. Garrison - Miami FL
Assignee:
SFS Swede Filter System, Inc. - Miami Lakes FL
International Classification:
B01D 17028
US Classification:

US Patent:
46875743, Aug 18, 1987
Filed:
Mar 11, 1985
Appl. No.:
6/709992
Inventors:

International Classification:
C02F 152
US Classification:
210151
Abstract:
A mobile water treatment plant capable of handling a high volume of sewage confined within the dimensions of a conventional truck-hauled container comprises: (1) a screen to separate gross solids from liquids; (2) a holding chamber between features 1 and 2 in which the liquid is aerated; (3) a flocculating chamber for the liquid; (4) a lamellar separator (bottom fed with intermediate auxillary lamellae extending 1/2 to 1/3 of the length of the main lamellae); and (5) treatment of the water from the lamellar separator with "activated oxygen" as described and claimed in U.
