US Patent:
6943454, Sep 13, 2005
Filed:
May 23, 2003
Appl. No.:
10/445283
Inventors:
Alan Michael Gulachenski - Hopkinton MA, US
Gary P. Pirani - Holden MA, US
Bob Khederian - Canton MA, US
Mark Downey - Jefferson MA, US
Assignee:
White Electronic Designs Corp. - Phoenix AZ
International Classification:
H01L023/48
US Classification:
257777, 438107, 438109
Abstract:
A memory module for an electronic system, such as a personal computer or server, includes a double-sided, 184-pin, dual in-line memory module printed circuit board. A plurality of individual electronic components are mounted on both sides of the printed circuit board. Each electronic component includes an electronic component printed circuit board, a first pair of stacked memory dies electrically connected to the electronic component printed circuit board, a second pair of stacked memory dies electrically connected to the electronic component printed circuit board, and a thin small outline ball grid array package at least partially encapsulating the first and second pairs of stacked memory dies. Preferably, an insulator is disposed between each pair of stacked memory dies.

Electrical Socket For High-Frequency Applications

View page
US Patent:
55868916, Dec 24, 1996
Filed:
May 4, 1994
Appl. No.:
8/237676
Inventors:
David J. Kelly - Worchester MA
Gary P. Pirani - Shrewsbury MA
Alan M. Gulachenski - West Millbury MA
Assignee:
Electronic Designs Inc. - Westborough MA
International Classification:
H01R 909
US Classification:
439 71
Abstract:
An electrical socket is disclosed for interfacing between a printed circuit board having contact pads and an electronic module having external leads, such as an integrated circuit. The electrical socket includes a base frame, containing an opening generally conforming to the body shape and size of the electronic module, and a plurality of spaced, parallel conductive members, such as electrical wires, arrayed on a resilient strip coextensive with at least part of the surface of the opening. Each conductive member includes both a lead portion in adjacent parallel relationship with one of the electronic module external leads and a contact portion in electrical engagement with a contact pad, and may also include a retaining portion for securing the conductive member to the resilient strip. The electrical socket may include a cover, with thermal vent holes, to secure the electronic module within the base frame opening.

International Classification:
A61B 17/3203
A61B 17/00
A61B 90/00
A61B 17/32
Abstract:
A medical device for manipulating a portion of tissue. The device may have one or more opposing jaws. One of the jaws may be configured to be placed between the portion of tissue and an underlying portion of tissue, and have an orifice configured to direct a fluid towards a surface of the other jaw so as to move the portion of tissue towards the said other jaw. A fluid delivery channel may extend between the orifice and a fluid source. A switch may be operable to flow the fluid from the source, through the channel, and out of the orifice. Related methods are also disclosed.
