Abstract:
A carton formed from a unitary blank includes a top wall, a pair of side walls and a composite bottom wall foldably adjoined along their side edges to form a tubular structure is provided with an end panel foldably joined to an end edge of the top wall at one end of the carton and which is folded into flat face contacting relation with the inner surface of the top wall together with a door panel foldably joined to the end edge of each side wall at one end of the carton and interconnected with the adjacent end edge of the end panel by a web panel foldably joined to each end of the end panel and to an adjacent edge of a side wall.

Abstract:
A carton in which a plurality of containers (C) are held in a complementary set of apertures (A) provided in a main panel (16) of the carton so that portions of the containers are exposed to view while other portions are enclosed by other panels (30,32; 14,18; 12,20) of the carton. An opposed pair (30,32) of these other panels for flanking body portions of the packaged containers include positioning tabs (38,40; 42,44) which extend into the container receiving apertures so that during loading and formation of the package the containers are urged against the positioning tabs which automatically cause the flanking panels to be pivoted into and held in the container flanking position.

A container having a bottom panel of quadrilateral configuration includes side walls foldably joined to side edges of the bottom panel, end walls foldably joined to end edges of the bottom panel, web structure at each corner of the container which is foldably joined to ends of adjacent side and end walls together with a locking tab foldably joined to each end edge of each end wall and defining a locking slit arranged to cooperate with a fastening slit for holding the web structure in collapsed condition and for holding the carton side and end walls in set up condition.
