The Downtown Little Rock Kiwanis Club adopted the Kiwanis International Slogan of Serving the Children of the world and incorporated it into their lives, their interests, and their community. The Kiwanis Club members work to raise money for the summer camp through their Campership Program to businesses every spring. In 2012, they raised over $150,000. In addition to the Kiwanis Club, the Kiwanis Activities, Inc. is the operating parent of the organization. Kiwanis Activities, Inc. is a 501(c)3 organization so that all donations are tax deductible. Kiwanis members participate in Kiwanis Work Day each spring to clean the grounds and do minor repairs. They attend various events at the camp to put a face to the name for the campers. Graduation ceremonies will find several Kiwanians in attendance, meeting parents and children, and participating in the program.
