Abstract:
A coin dispenser includes coin storage tubes ( ) each with a dispensing mechanism ( ) located directly below each tubes ( ). The dispensing mechanism ( ) includes a motor ( ), a planetary, planocentric or other compact reduction gear and a dispensing link arm ( ) pivoted towards one side of the tube ( ) and reciprocated by a drive pin ( ) located in a slot ( ). This arrangement allows a high packing density of tubes ( ) and flexibility in their positioning. The tubes are arranged in an arc around a dispensing aperture ( ). Multiple such dispensers may be stacked so that coins from an upper dispenser fall through the dispensing aperture in the lower dispenser.

Abstract:
A document recycler combines the function of a last-in/first-out (LIFO) recycler, a payout device, and a cashbox in one unit and facilitates manual replenishing of banknotes. Storage and extraction of the documents are controlled by coordinated motions between a drive roller, a diverter, and flaps. LIFO recycling allows the device to return the same documents as inserted in case of a transaction cancellation which eliminates the need for an intermediate escrow area.
