As an active member of the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce I've served two terms on the Board of Directors and am currently Chair of the Beautification Committee. I am a past president of Friends of Coastal Hospice
the Wicomico Garden Club; and Board member of Habitat for Humanity Wicomico County and the John B. Parsons Foundation. I love golf

Life takes many twists and turns and leads you around many surprising corners. My first job was with the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Association in Washington, D. C. From there I worked for Senator Edward M. Kennedy for five years, during which time he loaned me to his brother to help him during his presidential campaign. I was fortunate enough to travel with Robert Kennedy as a traveling campaign secretary. And was there when he was assasinated. I worked in the press office for the Peace Corps, was Assistant to the 1972 Democratic Convention Manager (the one that was Watergated) and then I returned to Salisbury and worked for Perdue Inc for four years before entering real estate in 1976,. I love real estate, putting the puzzle together so that the buyer and seller find each other and are happy with the results.
