Toilet/Bidet Device

View page
US Patent:
7318242, Jan 15, 2008
Filed:
Jan 5, 2006
Appl. No.:
11/325207
Inventors:
Edgar Alan Pace - Pinnacle NC, US
International Classification:
A47K 3/20
US Classification:
44204, 44205, 4448, 4443
Abstract:
A bidet toilet attachment is connected to the main water line in the bathroom at a valve. The valve is connected on one side to a water flow handle and on the other side to a bidet hoop conduit. The hoop conduit carries water from the main water line when the valve is actuated and is movable from a first position flat under the seat to a second position below the seat opening. The hoop conduit has a nozzle near the middle of the toilet and extends to the other side of the toilet seat where it ends as a lever for moving the hoop conduit between its two positions. The handle is fixed so that when the hoop conduit moves with respect to the handle, the valve moves with respect to the handle and water flows through the valve, into the hoop conduit and out the nozzle for cleansing.

Method And Apparatus For Treating Wounds With Oxygen And Reduced Pressure

View page
US Patent:
20030212357, Nov 13, 2003
Filed:
May 10, 2002
Appl. No.:
10/142324
Inventors:
Edgar Pace - Pinnacle NC, US
International Classification:
A61F013/00
A61F015/00
US Classification:
602/041000
Abstract:
A method of and apparatus for treating wounds by applying oxygen and reduced pressure and/or other medication sufficient in time and magnitude to induce healing and closure of the wound. The method and apparatus are applicable to wounds, infected wounds, and live tissue attachments. Wound treatment apparatus includes an impermeable wound cover sealably positioned over the wound. A screen of material such as open-cell foam or rigid porous material is placed beneath the wound cover and over the wound. A vacuum pump supplies suction within the wound cover and over the treatment site to provide oxygen, other medication and reduced pressure directly to the wound.

Cleaning System

US Patent:
20070166179, Jul 19, 2007
Filed:
Jan 19, 2006
Appl. No.:
11/334072
Inventors:
Edgar Pace - Pinnacle NC, US
International Classification:
F04B 17/00
US Classification:
417423150
Abstract:
A cleaning system has a high velocity fan held within an air-directing casing movably mounted between the lower ends of an inverted U-shaped yoke. The blade configuration of the fan assures that air is directed outwardly in a narrow beam. The system rotates about a vertical extendable support tube and the casing and fan oscillate about a horizontal axis through a vertical angle which can extend from horizontal to near-vertical in the upper and lower direction. A crank arm connects to the U-shaped yoke and to one end of a crank rod which connects to the fan casing. Rotation of the crank arm displaces the crank rod so that the casing and fan oscillate about the horizontal axis. The crank arm is adjustable in length by spaced apart holes. The length of the crank rod is adjustable by using a two piece crank rod with the free end of each crank rod piece being adjustably secured to a connecting rod. The newly designed crank rod having additional spaced apart holes provides additional adjustability features.

Retractable Bidet Device Actuated By Single Mechanism With Delayed Flow

View page
US Patent:
20130269094, Oct 17, 2013
Filed:
Apr 11, 2012
Appl. No.:
13/443925
Inventors:
Edgar Alan Pace - Pinnacle NC, US
International Classification:
A47K 3/26
E03D 9/00
US Classification:
4447, 4443
Abstract:
This invention comprises a bidet device, including a bidet kit, that can be mounted on a conventional toilet seat. A bidet valve is positioned between a bidet hoop conduit and a water supply conduit. Rotation of the bidet hoop conduit results in rotation of a valve seat relative to a valve stem to permit water to flow through the bidet hoop conduit. Water does not initially flow and only flows as the bidet hoop conduit reaches an extended operative position. Rotation of a handle or lever arm is the only movement necessary to move the bidet hoop conduit and initiate actuation of the valve. The bidet valve includes an actuator with a notch, the sides of which engage a stationary arm attached to the toilet seat to open and close the valve.

Apparatus For Stripping Yarn Ends From Spindles

View page
US Patent:
49360868, Jun 26, 1990
Filed:
Jan 25, 1990
Appl. No.:
7/469923
Inventors:
Jerry T. Carter - Charlotte NC
Edgar A. Pace - Winston Salem NC
Assignee:
Flakt, Inc. - Charlotte NC
International Classification:
D01H 1100
B65H 7300
B08B 500
US Classification:
57304
Abstract:
Apparatus for use with a traveling cleaner for textile machines, particularly ring spinners, operable to strip yarn ends from the whirls of the spindles for the bobbins of the ring spinner apparatus. A whirl cleaner blade is pivoted to the frame of the ring spinner adjacent each spindle so that its free blade end may be displaced into engagement with the whirl of the spindle by a jet of compressed air impinged against the blade. The compressed air is supplied by a nozzle suspended from the carriage of the pneumatic cleaner to impinge against the blade. The compressed air is fed from a central junction box under the track for the carriage through the energy chain which houses the power supply cables for the carriage. From the carriage, the compressed air is piped to the nozzle positioned at the level of the spindle whirls. Control means is provided to activate the flow of compressed air for a selected time period which achieves stripping of the whirls of all of the spindles in the apparatus during the time when the ring rail is disposed a distance above the spindle whirls.
